Why learn German at level A1?

Level A1 is the gateway to the German language. It allows learners to communicate in simple situations and lays the necessary foundations to progress to more advanced levels. According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), this level is essential for:

  • Acquiring fundamental skills: understanding common expressions, introducing oneself, interacting in everyday contexts.
  • Facilitating international mobility: studies, internships, and job opportunities in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
  • Discovering German-speaking culture: traditions, lifestyles, and values that enrich intercultural communication.

The A1 course at DZK is based on a communicative and interactive approach, combining role plays, dialogues, multimedia resources, and digital tools to make learning dynamic and effective. Learners also benefit from personalized support and preparation for international certifications (Goethe-Zertifikat, ÖSD).
